The time has come. Wunderlist is officially shutting down on May 6, 2020.
If you are still using Wunderlist, NOW is the time to take action and download your data. Even if you haven’t quite decided on another tool yet, make sure to take a few minutes to export your data and download a copy today! This way you will have it while you decide on your next tool.
You have several options. Here are my suggestions.
Option 1
Give Microsoft To Do a try. As you may know, Microsoft acquired Wunderlist about 5 years ago. They have moved most Wunderlist functions into Microsoft To Do. If you are ok with using Microsoft products, then this may be your easiest option. They have made it simple to switch. It won’t cost you anything but a few minutes of your time. If you like it and it provides what you need, then you are done. All you will need is a Microsoft account (free) and your Wunderlist Account.
To get started, just login to https://www.wunderlist.com and click the ‘Switch to To Do‘ button. Follow the steps, then enjoy.
But, if you are not a fan of all things Microsoft or think you may want to explore other tools and apps, then I suggest…
Option 2
Export and download your Wunderlist data. In fact, I highly suggest you do this even if you choose Option 1. It’s great to have options… right???
To get started, go to http://export.wunderlist.com. Follow the steps to export and download a copy of your data. Once you have it, now you can explore other tools and apps without having to start from scratch.
